What is the working title of your book?
Ransom (The Diamond Mini-Series, Book 3)
Where did the idea come from for the book?
The Mini-Series developed from writer's block. I was working on my full length novel Winter Rayne and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I thought of the idea, ran it by my oldest daughter, and here we are on #3.

When one of the group members is kidnapped and the core is the ransom, how will they ever find Diamond to get the core back in time to save a life.

Self-published
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
I don't know. I tend to go back and edit as I write. So I can't really give a time frame. I can tell you that I started in July.
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
I haven't really read any books like these, but there is a new TV series this fall called "Revolution" that is very similar to the idea behind The Diamond Mini-Series.
Who or What inspired you to write this book?
It was an idea that came to me when I had writer's block.
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
It's not only a story of survival, it's a story demonstrating that sometimes family isn't always blood related. Don't miss the print version coming in October!!
